Quote Of The Day - Joseph Farah

"Bible prophecy may have a bad name in the light of Harold Camping's misguided date-setting, but the biggest sign of the end may have been overlooked in all the rapture hysteria of the May 21st weekend. Once again, we saw the U.S. hit with a series of deadly superstorms following Barack Obama's pledge to return Israel to pre-1967 borders. Just days after Obama insisted Israel must give up lands it won through military victory with its enemies, some 200 people were killed by a tornado in Joplin, Mo. There's a pattern here. We saw it in Katrina, when George Bush forced Israel's withdrawal from Gaza. In fact, as everyone from Israeli rabbis to U.S. senators have noted, it seems to happen every single time the U.S. pressures Israel to divide the land." - World Net Daily founder Joseph Farah, saying that Obama caused the Joplin tornadoes.

PhoboQuotable - Joseph Farah

"Take a 5,000-year-old institution ordained by God that has worked all over the world and trash it because some a group of sinful, prideful people with no real interest in marriage wants to use it to demonstrate they are 'oppressed.' Keep in mind, it was the federal government that made all this inevitable with the Supreme Court case Lawrence v. Texas, in which it presumed to tell the people of that great republic they had no business enforcing laws against sodomy. Justice Antonin Scalia predicted in short order the ruling would open the door to something unimaginable a decade ago – same-sex marriage. He was right.

"That's how sodomy moved from being a sin 10 years ago to being a 'right.' It's not a right. It's a sin. And, in a civilized, self-governing society, when the majority of people ban sinful behavior – from murder, to theft, to adultery, to child molestation – they have the right and the duty to legislate against it. Courts have no business overruling the will of the people on such matters by dreaming up 'rights' that are to be found nowhere in the Constitution, the Bible or the history of mankind." - World Net Daily founder Joseph Farah, calling for the recriminalization of homosexuality.

WND To Sue Esquire

World Net Daily founder Joseph Farah says that he will be suing Esquire Magazine for posting a satirical claim that he had decided to pull the publication of Jerome Corsi's birther book, Where's The Birth Certificate?

On Wednesday, Esquire wrote:
In an exclusive interview, a reflective Farah, who wrote the book's foreword and also published Corsi's earlier best-selling work, Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak out Against John Kerry and Capricorn One: NASA, JFK, and the Great "Moon Landing" Cover-Up, said that after much serious reflection, he could not go forward with the project. "I believe with all my heart that Barack Obama is destroying this country, and I will continue to stand against his administration at every turn, but in light of recent events, this book has become problematic, and contains what I now believe to be factual inaccuracies," he said this morning. "I cannot in good conscience publish it and expect anyone to believe it."
The Esquire piece, which was not marked as satire until an update was posted several hours later, was picked up by numerous blogs. Farah rails: "I have concluded with attorneys who say we have an excellent chance of winning a lawsuit or lawsuits for the reckless disregard for the truth demonstrated by Mark Warren, Esquire and the Hearst Corporation in this matter. Personally, I think we should set our sights on taking ownership of Esquire. I think that would be a fair settlement. Obviously the magazine is in dire need of professional management."

NOTE: I came very close to posting about the Esquire piece, but luckily decided to check WND to see if they still had dozens of birther stories on the front page.

Joseph Farah: Purge Gays And Gay Allies From The Conservative Movement

"Purge is not a bad word. It simply means, according to the dictionary definition, 'to rid of whatever is impure or undesirable; cleanse; purify.' Conservatives need to purge from their movement anything that is not conservative. They shouldn't be attempting to broaden the definition of 'conservative.' They shouldn't be trying to build a bigger tent in the failed model of the Republican Party. They shouldn't be revising or lowering their standards. And they absolutely shouldn't be embracing enemies of the moral values that have defined the movement from the beginning.

"That's why it's time for true conservatives to get their act together as America faces its greatest challenges ever in the next two years. God cut Gideon's army up, slicing and dicing it until it represented only a tiny fraction of its numbers. God didn't want a big army to win victory. He wanted a miracle performed by a tiny army listening carefully and being in obedience to His commands. God purged thousands from Gideon's army. Conservatives need God's help, not GOProud's." - World Net Daily founder and three-time Just For Men gold medalist Joseph Farah.

"There is a reason most Americans do not want to promote homosexual behavior. They know in their hearts it's wrong. The Bible condemns it. But if we can't talk about the Bible openly in America, we can no longer talk about ultimate truth. We can no longer have a firm basis for knowing right from wrong – because it is our one and only guidepost on such matters.

"It is the basis for most of our laws. It is the basis for the very existence of this independent nation. It is the basis for our entire value system. Do you want your children to be indoctrinated into believing that homosexuality is just as right as heterosexuality? Do you want them to believe they cannot resist the temptations of homosexuality? Do you want them to believe God doesn't care how they behave sexually – or worse yet that God wants them to do whatever feels right to them?

"That's what is at stake in this debate. Right and wrong. I'm troubled by the fact that so few Americans are willing to stand up and say it. Where are they hiding? Where are the pro-family organizations? Where is the church? Why is everyone who should know better so quiet? Why are they throwing in the towel? Why are they in retreat?" - World Net Daily founder Joseph Farah and his gay pornstache, in an endorsement of Carl Paladino.

It's rather curious that Farah feels his fellow pig-fucking Christofascists have been "quiet" on this when in the last few days the American Family Association has declared that gay teen suicides are the result of gay activism and the Family Research Council's Tony Perkins said that if queer kids would just stop being so fucking gay, they wouldn't be so fucking dead.

Quote Of The Day - Floyd Brown

"The Obama presidency is a disease. Article 2, Section 4 (the impeachment clause of the Constitution) is the cure. And it's Obama's hatred of America that makes it absolutely imperative that we take action now. Barack Hussein Obama is not some do-gooder that has had his plans go astray. He is not a person of good will just trying his best to make America go the right direction. He is not. Barack Hussein Obama is a liar that absolutely knows what he's doing to the United States of America. He has a plan. He has an agenda. This man knows exactly where he's taking us. Obama hates Christianity. He is a Muslim. Others will say he's just a godless atheist. The bottom line is that this man hates Christianity." - Floyd Brown, president of the Western Journalism Center, in today's top post on World Net Daily.

NOTE: The Western Journalism Center was founded by World Net Daily creator Joseph Farah in 1991 to publicize Farah's claim the the Clintons had murdered former White House counsel Vince Foster.

PhoboQuotable- Joseph Farah

"The homosexual press has noticed. In an enlightening commentary on a homosexual activist blog, we get this observation: 'But isn't it something how the issue of marriage equality is slowly starting to tear at the GOP. What a difference a few years make. In 2004, there was nary a Republican that could get behind the issue of marriage equality without looking like a Benedict Arnold. And now? The trend is shifting big time.'

"And that's really the context needed to understand why WND took the stand it did with Ann Coulter upon her acceptance of the headliner position at GOProud's Homocon event this month. The conservative movement is nearing surrender on the issue – even while public opinion stands firmly committed against same-sex marriage. This is the way it works in our political culture.

"I, for one, don't plan on giving up. Someone needs to hold the celebrities accountable. Someone needs to offer correction. If we lose the battle over marriage, I'm not sure there's much left to preserve. Marriage is literally the building block of our civilization. Destroy it and you destroy the foundation. The enemy knows this. Do our so-called allies? I am ashamed of these people who should know better flirting with the destruction of a 6,000-year-old, God-created institution with no regard for the unforeseen and unimaginable consequences. That's why I will not be silent. I will not go quietly into the night." - Wing Nut Daily founder Joseph Farah, who has agreed to debate GOProud head Christopher Barron over whether the Quislings are legitimately a conservative group.

Ann Coulter: The People At World Net Daily Are Fake Christians Out For Publicity

And it just gets better. You might also enjoy the reactions to this latest salvo over on Free Republic.

UPDATE: WND's Joseph Farah fires back:
"Coulter called me a 'publicity whore' for my decision. But look who is on television talking about this – throwing mud, name-calling, smearing not only me but my entire staff. I will not engage in the kind of ad hominem attacks that have made Coulter so famous and that are making her even more of a media darling in this age of reckless anger and character assassination for the sake of entertainment. Every day, since we made this decision at WND, I thank God for giving me the clarity of mind and discernment to make the right choice."

Ann Coulter To World Net Daily Founder Joseph Farah: Oh, It's ON Motherfucker!

"Farah is doing this for PUBLICITY and publicity alone. This was an email exchange between friends and even though I didn’t expressly say “OFF THE RECORD” and I believe everything I said, he’s a swine for using my private emails politely answering him. Why would he do such a despicable thing? … for PUBLICITY.

"I will say that Farah could give less than two shits about the conservative movement — as demonstrated by his promotion of the birther nonsense (long ago disproved by my newspaper, Human Events, also Sweetness & Light, American Spectator and National Review etc, etc etc). He’s the only allegedly serious conservative pushing the birther thing. For ONE reason: to get hits on his website." - Ann Coulter, in an extremely pissed off email to the Daily Caller.

Yesterday World Net Daily founder Joseph Farah published Coulter's email to him about being dumped from WND's Miami conference because she will headline GOProud's Quisling confab. This just gets better and better.

World Net Daily Dumps Ann Coulter Over GOProud Homocon Appearance

World Net Daily has "dumped" Ann Coulter (their word) from her scheduled keynote appearance at their coming annual hatefest in Miami because of her plan to headline GOProud's Quisling confab in NYC next month.
Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND, said the decision was a gut-wrenching one for his team because of their fondness for Coulter as both a person and writer-speaker. "Ultimately, as a matter of principle, it would not make sense for us to have Ann speak to a conference about 'taking America back' when she clearly does not recognize that the ideals to be espoused there simply do not include the radical and very 'unconservative' agenda represented by GOProud," said Farah. "The drift of the conservative movement to a brand of materialistic libertarianism is one of the main reasons we planned this conference from the beginning."

Asked by Farah why she was speaking to GOProud, Coulter said: "They hired me to give a speech, so I'm giving a speech. I do it all the time." Farah then asked: "Do you not understand you are legitimizing a group that is fighting for same-sex marriage and open homosexuality in the military – not to mention the idea that sodomy is just an alternate lifestyle?" Coulter responded: "That's silly, I speak to a lot of groups and do not endorse them. I speak at Harvard and I certainly don't endorse their views. I've spoken to Democratic groups and liberal Republican groups that loooove abortion. The main thing I do is speak on college campuses, which is about the equivalent of speaking at an al-Qaida conference. I'm sure I agree with GOProud more than I do with at least half of my college audiences. But in any event, giving a speech is not an endorsement of every position held by the people I'm speaking to."
Just as with that whole CPAC nonsense, the douchebags at GOProud have again provided us with hilarious wingnut infighting. For that, at least, we can thank them.
