Tweet Of The Day - Chris Barron
Barron is bent out of shape because I tagged my anti-GOProud tweet with #kapos. Kapos, of course, were not Nazis, but don't expect hypocrites like Chris "Gay Left = American Taliban" Barron to grok such a distinction.

Ruben Diaz Rides The Waambulance
"One of the things that I thought makes the United States special is that we can disagree and still get along. Unfortunately, the growing hatred of many people in New York's homosexual community toward me does not demonstrate that. It makes no sense to me as a minister and as a Senator because I have never preached hatred toward anyone, and I denounce those who do. My strong position against homosexual marriage is the very same as the positions held by rabbis, ministers, imams and priests. I'm not sharing this information to appear to be a victim for sympathy sake, but I do want to put this in perspective. I feel a great sympathy for the people who are targeting me with so much hatred. They will all be in my prayers." - NY Sen. Ruben Diaz, in a press release quoting numerous anti-Diaz blog comments and tweets.RELATED: Diaz may claim to denounce anti-gay hatred, but I was right fucking there in the front row at his massive anti-gay rally in 2009 where thousands of his supporters waved signs about Sodom and Gomorrah, eternal damnation, pedophilia, etc. As he did two years ago, Diaz cleverly scheduled his coming protest on the day of the AIDS Walk, a move which decimates the potential number of counter-protesters. In my 2009 slideshow below, note that the barricaded area for marriage equality supporters was practically empty.

Arch Homophobe Sally Kern Rides The Waambulance In New Book
Oklahoma state GOP Rep. Sally "Gays Are Worse Than Terrorists" Kern has self-published a book about her horrible treatment at the hands of those awful, awful homofascists. From the Amazon description of The Stoning Of Sally Kern: In January 2008, the pastor’s wife and former high school teacher gave a speech to a Republican club in Oklahoma City explaining that the founding fathers believed Christian principles would lead to a civilized society, individual self-government, good citizens, the elevation of learning, and a cohesive value system. While explaining the fifth benefit, a cohesive value system, she told of a group of wealthy homosexual activists who threatened the nation’s moral fabric by attempting to unseat seventy conservative politicians who opposed their agenda. Clips from the speech later were posted on YouTube, generating more than 2 million hits and leading to what she describes as a media “stoning.” That didn’t stop her from winning re-election or from continuing her calls for America to return to the conservative principles that made it great. In this book she warns that there is danger ahead if social conservatives don’t preserve the nation’s foundations of morality, truth, and tolerance. She issues a cry for conservatives to stand for their freedom now before they no longer have the right to do so.Kern's book has already been tagged with some fun labels. Add your own reviews.

Quote Of The Day - Tony Perkins
"Today is a tragic day for our armed forces. The American military exists for only one purpose - to fight and win wars. Yet it has now been hijacked and turned into a tool for imposing on the country a radical social agenda. This may advance the cause of reshaping social attitudes regarding human sexuality, but it will only do harm to the military's ability to fulfill its mission."It is shameful that the Democratic leadership, aided by Republican Senators, has forced through such a radical change in a lame-duck session of Congress. The 1993 law which is to be repealed was adopted only after months of debate and at least a dozen Congressional hearings. The repeal has been forced through only eighteen days after the Pentagon released a massive report, which raised more questions than it answered on the impact the overturning of this policy will have on our nation's military." - Family Research Council head douchenozzle Tony Perkins, riding in the DADT waambulance.

NOM Rides The Prop 8 Waaahbulance
NOM is crying crying crying about today's Prop 8 hearing at the Ninth Circuit Court. "This hearing makes a mockery of the federal judiciary," said Brian Brown, president of NOM. "Citizens are entitled to a guarantee of impartiality from their judiciary. Yet here we have the spectacle of a federal appeals court justice ruling on a case in which his wife represents a group that is a participant. A cynic would be left to wonder if the fix is in for marriage in the Ninth Circuit."Sound effect for Miss Brown!
"The long road to determine the constitutionality of Proposition 8 cannot be allowed to go through the courtroom of a Judge whose wife is a key participant in that case," said Brown. "It's obvious that Reinhardt will vote to overturn Prop 8. We can only hope that once this case reaches the U.S. Supreme Court, that the people of California will finally get an impartial day in court. When they do, we are confident that marriage as the union of one man and one woman will be vindicated."

Quote Of The Day - Peter LaBarbera
"And so Illinois, dominated by Chicago and its corrupt Democratic machine, continues its moral descent. Land of Lincoln? In name only, as Abe Lincoln — whom some very troubled homosexual activists have tried to smear as a homosexual (it’s easy when the targeted victim is deceased) – actually revered the Bible, and thus surely respected its moral teachings — including the sinfulness of homosexual behavior and all sex outside of marriage. I’m afraid America is not 'special' in that regard: every advance of homosexualist legislation strengthens a powerful perversion movement that ingeniously plays the victim while promoting acceptance of its pet sin in the name of 'civil rights.'" - Porno Pete LaBarbera, riding the waambulance about yesterday's civil union vote in his home state (hah!) of Illinois.

Quote Of The Day - Matt Barber
"So, center-right America: If you happen to believe in the sanctity of natural marriage and that, as a culture, we're best served by honoring the Judeo-Christian sexual ethic of our forefathers, you're now an official 'hater.'"Of course, the tired goal of this silly meme is to associate in the public mind's eye mainstream conservative social values with racism, white supremacy and neo-Nazism. The ironic result, however, is that, as typically occurs with such ad hominem and hyperbolic attacks, the attacker ends up marginalizing himself and galvanizing his intended target (I'm rubber, you're glue and all that).
"Hence, beyond a self-aggrandizing liberal echo chamber, the SPLC - and by extension the greater "progressive" movement - has become largely, as it stews in its own radicalism, just another punch line. It's often said that the first to call the other a Nazi has lost the argument. Congratulations, conservative America: They're calling you a Nazi. Carry on." - Liberty Counsel spokesbigot Matt Barber, riding the waahbulance over the SPLC's new hate groups list.

HomoConQuotable - Kevin DuJan
"No, I will not stop talking about Jesus if the Spirit moves me or if I am in a place where I’m relying on his friendship to get me through the day. I’m in such a place right now. Over Halloween, a guy I liked very much, whom I thought a relationship could start up with, told me he couldn’t even be seen with me by his co-workers because I was 'a pariah in Boystown' for being out and conservative and for being proudly Catholic. He said his bosses would fire him if anyone knew he had anything to do with me. [snip]"We’ve reached a new phase of all this where the politics of personal destruction aimed at me by the Left have now made people afraid to have personal relationships with me…and this is seriously doing a real number to me. It hurts my heart and damn near kills my soul. All because I voice a political opinion that threatens the Left…and strangely carries enough weight for me to become a worthy target for what appears to be the Romney campaign, the White House, George Soros, and other nuts." - Homocon Hillbuzz founder Kevin DuJan, who says that yet another 25 year-old twink won't date him because he loves Jeebus and Sarah Palin. Also: Obama/Soros/Romney/Xenu want to kill him. Or something!
If you're not reading Hillbuzz, you totally should. It's conspiracy theories, bald racism, homocon nonsensery, and Limbaugh/Beck fanaticism all wrapped up in a giant ball of whackadoodle. It makes Gay Patriot seem like a warm place of reason. And that's saying something.

Karen England Is EVER So Pissed
Professional anti-gay activist Karen England is EVER so pissed at California Lt. Gov. Abel Maldonado, who blew off her group's demand that he rush out an appeal to Prop 8 while the Governator is out of the country. England rides the waambulance in this Christian Newswire press release she just fired out: When the Governor left the State late last week, the right and responsibility to file the appeal before Monday's deadline went to the acting governor, Mr. Maldonado. As a supporter of Proposition 8, conservative leaders requested that he file the paperwork. Former dean of Chapman Law School, John Eastman even drafted the necessary paperwork and volunteered to make the filing on Maldonado's behalf. But Maldonado did not even bother to respond. When a representative of Capitol Resource Institute contacted Maldonado's campaign manager a half hour before the deadline to file, the aide complained that phone calls had tied up the phones all day at the capitol and their campaign office, but he did not know what the Lt. Governor was going to do. He promised to call back, but the call never came. "Maldonado did not file the appeal" said Karen England, Executive Director of Capitol Resource Institute. "And the acting governor added to this negligence an arrogance and aloofness that suggested he was more concerned that we busied his phones than anything else."Bwah bwa bwaaaa.

Tony Perkins On DADT Ruling
"It is hard to believe that a District Court level judge in California knows more about what impacts military readiness than the service chiefs who are all on the record saying the law on homosexuality in the military should not be changed. Once again, homosexual activists have found a judicial activist who will aid in the advancement of their agenda. This is a decision for Congress that should be based upon the input of the men and women who serve and those who lead them." - Family Research Council douchenozzle Tony Perkins.

Call The Waambulance Because Nobody Wants To Date Homocon Kevin Dujan
Homocon Kevin Dujan, author of Hillbuzz, says that his last boyfriend broke up with him after a Google search revealed "what the Left had put out there" about him. And now Dujan claims that someone he was interested in threw a drink in his face when learning about his love for Sarah Palin. Why, radical gay leftists are probably planning his murder right this minute! Well, I’ll take a beer to the face, or even a punch, for Governor Palin and little Trig any day. I’ll accept whatever nasty thing the Left wants to do today, willingly, because I am tired of seeing people run in terror from these lunatics. I am sick to death of watching Republicans buckle when threatened by the Daily Kos crowd, and I’m so very tired of conservatives allowing the Left to run roughshod over this country because they are scared of the Left targeting them for resisting. Just as Jacobi broke things off with me because he Googled me after the Left’s attacks in January, and Keifer threw his drink at me and told me he hoped I got AIDS and died because he realized I’m a conservative political writer he’d heard of (and hated), I know that in the future there’s going to be some crazy Leftist zealot, most likely in the gay community, who’s going to take things even further…and possibly physically harm me because I won’t shut up, sit down, and allow the Left to tank this country.Oh, the bravery! The martyrdom! Read the entire self-pitying piece, it's hilair.

Tony Perkins Rides The Waambulance
"Once again, Chief Judge Walker has disregarded the will of the people of California by interpreting the U.S. Constitution in a way that imposes his own personal beliefs. We support Protect Marriage's immediate appeal to the Ninth Circuit to stay this decision until the conclusion of the case. "Voters in 30 states have protected marriage in their state constitutions because they understand the importance of a mom and a dad to children. The social science data is overwhelming and clear - children do best when raised by a mom and dad. Judge Walker's opinion completely stepped over these findings by the international research community. Now, by refusing to stay his ruling until all appeals are adjudicated, Judge Walker is cynically attempting to limit the options of the appellate courts by creating a legion of same-sex couples whose marriages could be nullified. In essence, Judge Walker is presenting an unnecessary challenge to the U.S. Supreme Court." - Tony Perkins, douchenozzle-in-chief of the Family Research Council.

SAD TROMBONE: FRC's Tony Perkins Is Demoralized Over Prop 8
"Despite our confidence that FRC and its allies can appeal this decision--as it has in every blow to marriage over the past 17 years--there's no denying how demoralizing this ruling feels. Maybe you drove for hours to rallies over Prop 8. Maybe you went door-to-door asking people to sign petitions in Maine. Or maybe you gave money that you couldn't really spare to help us fight. If you're discouraged, I tell you what I've told my staff--don't give up. Lean on what our good friend Rev. Ren Broekhuizen reminded us this morning at our staff chapel service: We don't serve victory. We don't serve results. We serve God. And if, years from now, that means we're the last people left on earth standing for Truth--so be it." - Family Research Council douchebag Tony Perkins, riding the waahbulance.Jumat, 09 Juli 2010
NOM Rides The DOMA Waambulance
NOM is predictably stamping their cloven hooves about yesterday's DOMA ruling. "Under the guidance of Elena Kagan’s brief that she filed when she was Solicitor General, Obama's justice department deliberately sabotaged this case," charged Brian Brown, President of NOM, referring to the Justice Department's brief which described DOMA as discriminatory. Despite the explicit language in DOMA that the law was designed to protect children's right to their mothers and fathers, the judge disavowed that DOMA has anything to do with responsible procreation. "With only Obama to defend DOMA, this federal judge has taken the extraordinary step of overturning a law passed by huge bipartisan majorities and signed into law by Pres. Clinton in 1996. A single federal judge in Boston has no moral right to decide the definition of marriage for the people of the United States," Brown continued.Slaggie Gilamonster waded in too.
"Does this federal judge want to start another culture war?" asked Maggie Gallagher, Chairman of NOM. "Does he really want another Roe. v. Wade? The simple fact is that the right of the federal government to define marriage for the purposes of its federal law and federal territories has been clear since the late 19th century, when Congress banned polygamy. Only an incompetent defense could have lost this case. We expect to win in a higher court."Sad trombone for NOM!

PhoboQuotable - Tony Perkins
"The Supreme Court, by a 5-4 ruling, now says that no university can give its imprimatur to discriminatory organizations if that university has an 'all-comers' policy of requiring every group to accept every membership applicant. In this case, the Court is suggesting that orthodox Judeo-Christian teaching against homosexual conduct is untenable on America 's university campuses. This is a grave breach of both freedom of religious speech and freedom of association, and a troubling day for America's long history of protection from religious discrimination."This decision came on the same day that Senate hearings on Elena Kagan's Supreme Court nomination began. It is just another reason why the United States needs justices who will uphold the Constitution and not undermine its guaranteed religious liberty to push a social agenda." - Family Research Council head Tony Perkins, riding the waambulance.

PFOX Complains: The PTA Won't Let Bigots Like Us Come To Their Convention!
"Ex-gay" group PFOX is stamping their widdle footies because the PTA says they don't allow hate groups to come to their national convention. PFOX says they called and emailed for eight months, requesting a booth at the convention, only to finally be told they don't meet the PTA's standards. Via Christian Newswire:"Why is it gay groups meet the PTA Diversity and Inclusion Policy but our families do not? 'Diversity' and 'inclusion' should mean exactly that -- diversity and inclusion of everyone," said [PFOX head Regina] Griggs. "Instead, gay groups like PFLAG that deny public access to ex-gays and disrupt church events welcoming former homosexuals are approved by the PTA while ex-gay groups are not," said Griggs. "Now the PTA is pressuring its state PTA chapters nationwide to adopt its biased national diversity policy, which includes 'sexual orientation,' even though that term is selectively used to discriminate against people of faith and ex-gay families." "The PTA has become a left-wing advocacy group instead of serving the needs of all children," said Griggs.PFOX is asking for concerned Christians to join in an email campaign to the national and local chapters of the PTA demanding that they rescind their sexual orientation non-discrimination policy until it includes the orientation of "ex-gay." Or "totally kidding themselves," as it is more properly known.

Houston Pastors Want Mayor Annise Parker's Non-Bias Order Rescinded
Last month openly lesbian Houston Mayor Annise Parker issued a sweeping non-bias order granting employment protections to LGBT workers "at every level of municipal government." Predictably, the city's Christianists are screaming about men in dresses. “Forcing women in particular using city facilities to be subjected to cross-dressing men invading their privacy is beyond the pale and offensive to every standard of decency,” said Pastor Steve Riggle, senior pastor of Grace Community Church and an Executive Committee member of the Houston Area Pastor Council (HAPC). “This is not only morally wrong it exposes the city and therefore the taxpayers to endless litigation and expenses,” added Pastor Hernan Castano, senior pastor of Iglesia Rios de Aceite and a member of the HAPC Executive Committee. “It is irresponsible and indefensible.” Notably, however, supporters of the executive order are insisting that it remains unlawful for men to go into the women’s restroom. The Houston Area Pastor Council says Parker's move should have been expected because she's a dirty dyke: "We are appalled but not surprised that this mayor has so early in her administration proven that we were right in asserting before the election that her sexual preference is central to her public policy."
