Celebs Pressure Obama On Marriage
A coalition of openly gay celebrities and their allies have issued a public letter to the president, asking that he complete his "evolution" and come out publicly in support of same-sex marriage. The letter reads, in part:
Like so many Americans, you have spoken of your personal journey toward support for the freedom to marry. You have talked about the gay and lesbian people in your life, their commitment to each other and care for their kids, and their families that aren’t so different from any other family.Among those signing the letter: Ellen DeGeneres, Anne Hathaway, David Geffen, Martin Sheen, Eric McCormack, Lily Tomlin, Scott Fujita, and Julian Bond.
We ask you now for your leadership on ending the exclusion of same-sex couples from marriage, an exclusion that harms millions of Americans each day. Whether to end discrimination in marriage is a question America has faced before, and faces again today. With so many Americans talking it through in heartfelt conversations, it is a question that calls for clarity from the President.

Michelle Obama Talks Bullying With Ellen
The First Lady appears on today's episode of Ellen, where the two discussed bullying.
Mrs. Obama said young people need to know that they shouldn't let the challenges they face in high school or college "eat them up." "All of these young people regardless of their race, their sexual orientation, they are gifts to us," she said. "They have so much to offer and it's just terrible to find out that kids are letting this part of their life define everything about who they are going to be." The first lady said she tells daughters Malia and Sasha that they have a responsibility to speak up when they see someone being bullied.

PhoboQuotable - Gary McCullough
"The encouragement I take from the firing of DeGeneres is that someone in Hollywood understands what I have been saying; that the promotion of homosexuality and the production of family entertainment do not mix. There is money to be made and there are cultural battles to be fought; if you try to do both you will lose twice. That has been my business advice. Cultural battles have two sides, one of which is immoral. Choose to fight on the immoral side of a cultural battle and any victory you experience will only be temporary. That is my spiritual advice." - Christian Newswire director Gary McCullough, speaking from his wig fitting at Glamor Shots.
According to McCullough, DeGeneres didn't resign voluntarily from American Idol, she was fired because America couldn't take her filthy lesbionic ways. (Ways which America can take, apparently, five times a week for five years on an hour-long one-lesbo show syndicated to 200+ U.S. markets.)

Homoquotable - Ellen DeGeneres
"A couple months ago, I let FOX and the "American Idol" producers know that this didn't feel like the right fit for me. I told them I wouldn't leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next. It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for."I also realized this season that while I love discovering, supporting and nurturing young talent, it was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. I loved the experience working on "Idol" and I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be." -Ellen DeGeneres, announcing her decision to leave American Idol after only one season.

PhoboQuotable - Gary McCullough
"Network television producers may or may not stop promoting homosexuality; but for certain they will learn to keep homosexual activism separate from the cash-cow of 'family entertainment.' There is of course the insane possibility that Hollywood will forsake ratings - and the dollars that follow - and continue down the path of change. Perhaps next we will see the pro-pedophilia group NAMBLA use its influence in Hollywood to have Dancing with the Stars seat Roman Polanski as a judge." - Christian Newswire director Gary McCollough, speaking from behind the gauzy lens at Glamour Shots.
McCullough blames American Idol's declining ratings on the public's distaste for their evil homofascist judge, Ellen DeGeneres. And certainly not on this season's spectacularly dreary contestants.
